Community

At Winsley CC, we believe cricket should be for everyone. Our Community programmes are designed to create welcoming, inclusive spaces where people of all ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities can enjoy the game in a way that suits them.

We are proud to support and develop a range of community‑focused cricket opportunities:

🚶‍♂️Walking Cricket

A slower‑paced, sociable version of the game designed for older adults, those returning to activity, or anyone who prefers a gentler format. Inclusive, friendly, and great for wellbeing.

👉 Find out more on our Walking Cricket page.

Disability Cricket We are working with Wiltshire Council (including the SEND team) and developing our partnership with Southwick Playing Fields to introduce Disability Cricket opportunities. Our aim is to create a safe, supportive, and adaptable cricket offer for local young people and adults with disabilities. 👉 More details on our Disability Cricket page.

🏳️‍🌈 Western Force CC

Winsley CC proudly provides guidance, support, and a safe space to Western Force CC — an LGBTQIA+ cricket collective created to increase participation across the South West.

Inclusive. Welcoming. Proud. Competitive. Fun.

🤝 Our Commitment

Across all our community programmes, our goal is simple: to make cricket accessible, enjoyable, and welcoming for everyone.

We will continue to update these pages as each project grows.
