3. Maximising Nets Others

Herefordshire Cricket is delighted to offer the new four Coach Development Workshops created by the ECB recently. Each workshop will cost £15 or all four can be booked for £50. In general the workshops on the 29^th November are focused on club coaches (jnrs) and the 6^th December ones all coaches, particularly those wishing to improve their understanding and input. These workshops will mostly be delivered by HCL Staff and will be done at Bridge Street Sports Centre, Leominster. The sessions will be active, so tracksuit and trainers required.

Nets can be one of the most valuable parts of a coach’s programme - but only when they are organised with purpose. Maximising nets helps coaches design and run net sessions that are safe, active, and engaging, so players spend less time waiting and more time learning.

·       Purposeful organisation: structuring nets to maximise intent, activity and learning

·       Safety and flow: managing space, numbers, and rotation effectively

·       Meaningful practice: moving beyond repetition to more game-relevant design.
