Objectives

Hatherley & Reddings Cricket Club (HRCC) is a community-based club and we want to provide children with the opportunity to try the game of cricket in a safe, welcoming environment and to have fun with their friends! We want every player to reach their full potential whether this is playing for England or in a Sunday morning friendly for HRCC. While we want to have competitive league teams, the focus is on all the children not just the eleven playing in the age group’s ‘A’ XI.

Our objectives are:

  1. To ensure every youth player has an enjoyable cricketing experience at HRCC.
  2. To ensure every youth player is given the opportunity to develop their skills and to achieve their playing potential.
  3. To be a Centre of Excellence for youth development in the county including broadening access to the game to all parts of the community.
  4. To have a team in each age group that challenges for league and cup honours.
  5. To provide the stepping stone to senior cricket at HRCC/county level.
  6. To ensure HRCC youth players demonstrate the Spirit of Cricket.
