The tries rained down for our 1st team as they crossed the line 10 times in the 64-22 victory over Wigton.

They led 36-0 at the break with Slow securing a 1st half hat-trick, and Asher-Wood, Beckwith and Yarrall also scoring.

Wigton made more of a contest of it in the 2nd half, but further tries from Yarrall, Plumtree, Perkins and Renwick saw Consett home. Bowman was successful with seven conversion attempts.

Back to back victories moved Consett up to 7th in the table.
